The game is divided into levels, with each level representing a different layer of the atmosphere. Successfully reaching space signifies a significant achievement, as your beam has contributed to cooling down the Earth and combating global warming. The game offers varying levels of difficulty, with the easiest mode set in the year 1850 when greenhouse gases were less prevalent, and the hardest mode depicting a polluted future with densely packed gases requiring lightning-speed reflexes to overcome.

By reaching space and preventing energy from warming the planet, players can unlock interesting scientific facts about the greenhouse effect and solutions to climate change in the game's shop.
